Finally, wife had steamed Chinese vegetables. Served with vermicelli style noodles and wontons that were a mix of shrimp and pork (on the authentic menu.). It was a deep brown broth, full of flavor. The bbq roast pork wonton soup was incredible the broth wasn't the typical yellow, salty tasteless variety I've become accustomed to. The bbq roast pork over rice was loaded with delicious roast pork and vegetables over seasoned white rice. One of the best dishes I ever had in a Chinese restaurant, anywhere. Delicious ginger sauce served over a bed of crispy noodles with Chinese broccoli and plenty of shrimp. The pan fried noodles with shrimp was the highlight. The food, from both menus, is full of flavor and served hot and with presentation.įour dishes were ordered. They are open WAY later than most other restaurants, until 2:00AM. Their menus (one authentic Chinese, one Americanized) are ridiculously extensive and have just about every option under imaginable. It has taken a lifetime, but my task of finding a legitimate Chinese restaurant in the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area is over! Dragon City is SO much better than any other a Chinese restaurant on so many different levels. We actually paid for the $74 dead un-eatable fish. We were SO PRESSURED by these MOB people. Not only they ruined the birthday celebration, they upset my mom and family. Why would we lied about that? We came here to eat for my mom birthday? Our whole family was there! You don't just go to a restaurant for an celebration event if you don't like the food. They not only feed us dead fish, they embarrass us and pressure us to pay for a DEAD FISH that was not EATABLE. The chef came out to curse us out loudly in the front everyone start looking at us to force us to pay, what is this? A restaurant? Or a mob? His behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. Of course we didn't want to pay! We couldn't eat it. So we def couldn't eat it, they gave us a dead fish! We told our waiter and the argue with us saying how we were being ridiculous. We love the food here and was just as excited to eat the fish, we dig into it and it was squishy to the point it didn't seem like fish meat then it has a smell as well. She love fish so we ordered a fried fish. We ordered a full table for my mom birthday.
